I just updated my computer, so I’m not sure if this is a Memrise or me thing, but for the Japanese courses the font is VERY different. I guess this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, since it’s important to recognize kanji no matter the font, but what’s really annoying is that my IME now automatically fills in the kanji without me hitting space and “telling” it to. This is frustrating because I’m doing a readings course, meaning I need to answer in hiragana most of the time. Is this a Memrise thing, and if so is there any workaround for it yet? Thanks

I don’t have the problem where IME fills in kanji without pressing the space bar so that’s likely something with your IME settings I guess.

No problem, the mincho (or sometimes even Chinese) typeface that is sometimes used by Memrise is far from ideal for learning purposes.
