I am working on hsk3 and I have many words already known. There is no way for me to remove words from my review list. Some words I don’t need to review or quiz, or even want to type the answer because I know it well enough.
I feel like I am wasting a huge amount of time using this app because I have to spend so much time entering input for words that I don’t need to review.
I would pay something for this app… it’s just the paid features also don’t do anything for me.
Also, it was extremely hard to open a forum account because your app included an unneeded protocol handler in Android that made me trying to log into your website go to the app . Where there is no way to do feedback.
So I had to deal with that bug before being able to tell you the thing that is desperately needed
Can you see where it says “7 ignored” and “ignore” with the wrench icon?
Click on “ignore” and then you can tick the box next to the words you want to ignore.
This is how you do it on the web version, at least, but I presume you don’t have just a smartphone, but other devices, too, where you can go on the website rather than using the app?
This function might not be available on the app. I don’t know because I have never looked for it.
I come across a word that I know well and it bombards me many times in a row… I guess I might be asking for a way to table a word while doing classic review and study new words?
I expect to click on the flower and control what the flower reads as.
There are also a few gotcha questions in the speed review where I choose man, which to me already means human, but the answer was man person… then I am hit with a day one Chinese character as one I got wrong because I clicked on the correct answer that wasn’t the expected one… There are things like choose and and to choose… And other that have correct answers that are just marked wrong. So there are two correct answers in a quiz… but only one is counted.
Then there are ones that require typing or typing of English… which I can misspell… I need to be able to click I got it right…
And then there are ones where I really don’t know the answer but I guess right. Or can deduce it from the questions.
That takes a lot of work to fix, so the easiest thing is an honor system where I say if I got it right or not.
A button that lets me go back to the previous question and say I got it right or wrong.
