Hi there. How can I contribute in order to see Uzbek language in the “I speak” section?
Thanks.
Hi there. How can I contribute in order to see Uzbek language in the “I speak” section?
Thanks.
That depends on the Uzbek community using Memrise. Or you can try making courses yourself?
There needs to be courses catering to Uzbek speakers for Uzbek to be listed in that section. So if no such courses are made, that section would be redundant.
Are there any current courses for Uzbek speakers on Memrise?
Yep - there are courses in Uzbek:

It’s a bit strange that other Central Asian languages such as Kazakh and Kyrgyz have their own section while Uzbek is grouped in “Other Language Courses”.
These are courses to teach Uzbek, I believe OP was referring to courses to learn through Uzbek.
My bad, @RyouBakura, I understood incorrectly.
It does, however, seem like an omission that Uzbek is not a language category for courses while Kazakh, Kyrgyz are.
Exactly. That’s why I meant. There is Kazakh, Kyrgiz but no Uzbek:
Is it possible to have Uzbek over there too? How can I contribute to it?
I believe I pretty much covered that…
I understood that. My question is, can you please add Uzbek into the list, so that I could select “Uzbek” instead of “Other language”?
So it’s not even in the course creation section huh…
Hey @Lien, I would like to ask you if you guys could add Uzbek as a languages independent from “other languages” section so course creators can choose. Any input from you or any other staff member is highly appreciated.
