I did some research on fair use of music and such, as far as I can tell it is permissible to use music clips for learning and non profit uses.

I want to take music from songs I enjoy and make a course which translates each section of the music and would like to include the clip but I need to know if this breaks any memrise rules. I read through everything I could find and couldn’t find anything against it.

Just double checking before I spend a lot of time editing the audio files.

Anyone know if this is ok?

There are copyright rules related to use of music but usually the music owner contacts the site that distributes the music and asks the site to take down the music.
