Multiple Choice Shows Identical Course Pictures

Hi,
After i made a memrise i found out that if i start my course the pictures are all from the correct word, like it’s about my course “evenhoevige” and i’m not sure how to fix this due that it hasn’t happened to me before.
Does anyone have experience with this?

This is usually, often, or always because you have duplicates between different entries (in any of the columns).

And how can i find the duplicate? I have no idea what to look for xD

If you click “Edit” in your course you should see something like this:

If any text anywhere is identical to any text elsewhere (from a different entry) you have a duplicate (I think that’s how the bug works). If you have a small course you can just try to look through the entries. If you have a bigger course you can first expand all the levels and then copy all the text (hold down Ctrl and drag your mouse down) and paste into Excel. In Excel it is then easier to automatically look for duplicates.

But that’s what i don’t get, it’s just animals names and pictures.

I don’t see how those can be a duplicate and with other courses it worked fine like this.
But thank you for trying to help, i guess i’m just not really fit to make more courses xd

Okay. If you have no duplicate words and no duplicate pictures I don’t know what could be the problem.

It’s a bug anyway so I’ll move this to Web Bugs. Maybe Memrise staff can fix it or has a solution.

I can’t really explain the problem, however I can give you the solution which I used to fix your course.

  1. Add a new level (This gives you the ability to edit your course database)
  2. Edit your database
  3. Remember the name of the word which causes the issue, and save the image
  4. Remove the word and the image from the database
  5. Click on Levels
  6. Insert back the word and the Image which was removed

Tada! No more duplicated images in your multiple choice.
