This has been happening only in the past couple of months when working on my Spanish Verb Forms courses - see examples below.

Both answers are correct.However, the meaning is largerly dependent on the contacts. That is to say, compra is Imperative in Subjunctive Mood.

Le is also used as a form of polite indirect speech (at least in continental Spanish; cf. the similar politeness strategies in Polish).
