Mother tongue to target language or the opposite direction

hi everyone,
which direction are you using to memorize your vocabulary on Memrise ?
I am working on mother tongue to target language only because I think it makes more sense and it’s much more difficult. but sometimes when I see the words in the target language in context (in a text or a speech), it sometimes happens that I don’t remember them. the brain is a very stupid thing and sticking to one type of apprenticeship can make you very good in this type of apprenticeship but it doesn’t really help when it comes to learning something even only a little different (different direction in this case).

so what do you do ?
I would love to be able to use Memrise in both directions but it seems to be difficult (changing directions makes you start from scratch again). how do you do it ?

The author of the course can choose whether to check the knowledge of words in the language of the course or in the target language and can choose only one direction for a particular level.

In order to fulfill your request, the author would have to copy the level and introduce testing in the opposite language. There is a button under the name of the level (in the edit mode) that allows him to change it.
