Today is Wednesday and this is my graph:
The correct time zone is chosen. The Tuesday & Monday squares from the beginning of the month are not days on which my streak was broken anywhere but on this tracking metric (streaks on courses are unaffected, despite the learning graph showing zero learning events on those days). On those two days I did lessons between the hours of 12am and 2am, and according to this metric those days were missed entirely.

This has been a problem the whole time I’ve paid attention to this graph (years?) but I only started participating in the forums when the streaks weren’t synced between the app & the website. Hoping this post can lead to a resolution.
