Monthly Score for February was not deleted on 1st March

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? The monthly score was not deleted for almost all the members of several classes I use on a daily basis.

However, for me it was deleted, sending me plummeting down to the bottom of the list in almost every class I am using. I wonder why this seems to have happened to me while the others have had their points carried forward from the previous month. I have never experienced this before, it is annoying.
What could have caused this? I am baffled!
Your thoughts would be appreciated…

Let’s see what happens at the end of March. It certainly is not a bug!

It happened to me in the course this month, the same as you (i’m not too concerned because it’s the monthly score, but if something irregular happened to the all-timer i’d be outraged):

Thanks for your reply. I did get a reply from Memrise telling me to deinstall and install their App which I don’t actually have.
We’ll have to wait and see what happens when the 1st April arrives.
I seemed to be the only one in the many Memrise classes I visit daily so it is good to have some feedback from another member - just in case it happens again. Fingers crossed, it won’t.

I don’t use the app either, in fact I was about to report it, but it slipped my mind. Because the first days it was obvious that the monthly score couldn’t be higher than the weekly (1st-3rd March) , as it was shown. I thought that the reason may be February is a special month, and there’s some fault in the code for that reason.

I can understand your thinking that, since February has only 28 days (29 in Leap Year) but it has never happened before. I’ve been with Memrise almost daily since 2013.

Then if that were the case, why did that happen just to me (in around 13 classes I visit daily), while the monthly points of the other participants were carried over, mine were put back to zero (and this happened to you too!)

Curious indeed, isn’t it?

Here we go again - Monday, 26th March 2018 - the weekly score was not put back to zero for SOME but not all members in SOME courses I am using. Is this a new trend, Memrise? Is there something you ought to inform us about?

Yeah, I noticed that too. Weekly scores stayed up for my main course. Perhaps there are some issues with their batch to wipe out all those scores.

I highly doubt they’re doing this on purpose.

Well, it is high time they got it sorted and stopped blaming APPS which some of us don’t even have!

The end of the month, 31st March 2018.
Is Memrise going to adjust all the score boards for all of its member and put them back to zero or will some be put back to zero where as others continue with their scores from March.
Waiting with baited breath to see if Memrise has sorted this out for the start of the new month, April. I have already written to them twice on this topic, so they are certainly aware of it.
