"Missions" constantly showing up, even after completed; not registering as completed

Pro User here. After I complete a mission/grammarbot, and then do some review, or learn new words, the same mission/grammarbot pops up again. If I complete the mission/grammarbot again, then I do some more words, and the same mission/grammarbot comes up… again. This happens on Spanish 1, Spanish 2, Spanish 3, Spanish 4, and Spanish 5. They are not being registered as completed, and constantly pop up. Besides being annoying as hell, it also means that I can never do any missions/grammarbots beyond the first since I can’t “skip” to the second mission/grammarbot until the first is completed.

This was never a problem until the most recent update. It’s really frustrating. The “updates” keep breaking what was once a working application.

Also a Pro user. I have the same problem. Every time I complete a task, it tells me the next activity is to start mission. It’s always the dating one for Spanish, which I’ve done a number of times.

Hello? Anybody there? I’m paying for these features that I’m not even able to use… could someone from Memrise at least respond?

I have exactly the same issue, I am doing French 3, after an update it forces missions on me and does not register they are done. As a result I can’t progress with my practice at all and I am stuck at the same level.

Please sort this out!

Thanks for reporting this. We are aware of some issues for users regarding “repeating chatbots” on the app, and hope to have a solution implemented shortly. I hope this helps for now. We’ll be sure to update you once a fix has been released.

Here’s an idea:

Could the Memrise team simply release an update that reverts to a previous version of the app?

If you release a new “update”, and it causes more problems than it solves, the obvious answer is to go back to before the update. Taking one month to “work on a solution” while your users are not able to use the app seems like a waste of everyone’s time.

I have this as well! Basically destroys my motivation to do any Spanish Memrise!

Also a pro user and I have the same issue with the Chatbot and Grammar Bot for the Japanese lessons. It’s pretty annoying. I see it’s been going on for a while and it doesn’t seem like the team is solving the issue.

And that was 22 days ago.

Still can’t use Memrise

As of today it works so far.

New bug that won’t let me progress, will start separate thread.
