Mispronunciation leads to 'difficult words', but that doesn't help

I’ve started learning Swedish 26 days ago (from English although I’m Dutch). I really like this method of learning. It’s big fun and easy, just ten minutes a day.

One thing is rather unhelpful though. There are specific words and phrases that I can’t seem to pronounce in the right way (for instance - ‘sjuk’ or ‘en rät’t’ ) So these words and phrases are constantly marked as ‘difficult words.’ But instead of more pronunciation exercises, I get to type and recognise and translate them a hundred times in the classical review way. That’s not helpful at all and starts to annoy me.
Is this something you can find a solution for?

Hi @Gabrielle2021,

Thanks for getting in touch. Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue.

If you want to focus on only pronunciation, you can always select the pronunciation mode by clicking on the mode selector (button with the dots):

If you want to, you can also manually remove words from your Difficult Words list using these instructions: https://memrise.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015887577-What-are-Difficult-Words-
