Merge Two Course Databases or Use Different Database for Each Level?

I am trying to create my first course in memrise. When I started, I accidentally created several databases instead of just using one for the whole course.

My problem is that I can’t figure out how to use a different database for each level. All of my levels just automatically use the first database I created.

How can I either:
A) use a different database for each level, or
B) merge my databases into just one larger database?

Otherwise I will need to re-enter a lot of data which wastes a lot of time and motivation.

Thanks in advance for the help; I just want to help others learn.

Hi, @abuned.

When opening the “Add Level” dropdown box in the upper left corner of the level editing screen, you can select which of your existing databases to use. Alternatively, you can go into the database editor and click “Create levels” in the upper right corner to compile everything in that database into new levels all at once.

You can see which database a level is using in the parenthesis by each level’s title in the level editor, and there is unfortunately no way to change which database a level uses after it’s made (you’d need to delete it and make a new one) or to merge two existing databases.

Hope that helps! Feel free to ask if you still have questions.
