I was gone abroad for a while, and now the whole site is a sickly purple cartoon… but what concerns me most is what happened to my Mems!? I shared them with my boyfriend and took some Mems from other people as they had very interesting and useful explanations… Now all of it is gone? All I could find was a post from May saying they would ‘revert back’ the Mems, but that was obviously false as I don’t have them anymore. Or are they tucked somewhere else? I just want to know if there’s any way to recuperate them… I ‘liked’ all the Mems I used to find them easily and review from them.

the truth is that they did not revert taking out mems… now one can (maybe) see max some 3, 4 mems (allegedly selected by the team as non-isulting/obtrusive etc)

ARGH come on!! Mems are supposed to shock the mind, that’s how you remember!
Why is PC so upsetting to me? How paradoxical!

I have nothing against PC, as long it does not make mad forms (being i’ve lived in a number of countries and still live “abroad”, and intend to later grow old in some other “abroad” place), I appreciate not being all the time insulted or etctec just because my passport has a different colour, or I am a woman etc).
I suspect what memrise did is not PC, but the wish to attract more kiddies and their willing-to-pay parents
