Hey I only just got an account on here and I’ve just learnt how to create mems but now I’m wondering are mems meant to be educational or for comedy

Mems are generally meant to be anything that can help you or other users remember or understand a given piece of information. They usually consist of mnemonic devices and/or explanations of concepts.
They can certainly (and often do) contain humor, which may help make a mnemonic device more memorable, but they should be limited to things that aim to aid in learning, rather than just being humorous in itself.
