On January 30, 2018 my Memrise app (running on Android 8.1 with the January 2018 patches installed) was updated to version 2.94_4030_memrise.
Since the update the Japanese 1,2 and 3 courses stopped working:
Japanese1,2,3: Pronounciation: the app blocks indefinitely on the loading screen (warming the engines)
Japanese1,2,3: Listening Skills: error message: "You need to learn some more words to practice listening"
Japanese1,2,3: Learn with Locals: error message: “The locals have escaped.”
Please, note that I have completely finished all courses and that all types of exercises were working as expected prior to the update.
The exercises that work are “classic review”, “difficult words” and “speed review”.
