Not sure if this is the place the post. I’m learning Indonesian and I learn alot from Mems that explain something about the word.
E.g.:
Seperempat (= quarter)
“Consists of the words Se (= one) per Empat (=four): one per four, this word is mostly used when talking about quantities.”
Funny images also give a hook for the word to be learned, but things like the above teach me alot more about the (origin and use of the) word and give me a better understanding. For those of you who make such Mems… Thank you!
Also it would be great if aside from Mems we could add sentences where the word is used + translation.
E.g.:
"Sudah jam berapa sekarang? Jam sebelas kurang seperempat."
What time is it currently? It’s a quarter to eleven.
