Meaningless emails, from memrise or some phishing site?

I got today 2 emails that “charlotea” or something left my “group mine” (“group mine”???). I don’t have any group, never had a public one (i used a private one to compensate the lost pinning, but I’ve deleted one year ago???), so how can one leave my group? given the formulation “your group mine” i was wondering… is this memrise or

sender: "[email protected]"

Can you send us a screenshot of the email and the actual username of the person who left your group.

If you don’t have a group and believe the email is false then ignore it.

This happened to me once. I’ve created “groups” to cluster the courses I’m learning by language, and one time someone joined my French one. I deleted it and remade it, but yeah, I’m not sure how it was published.

i hope it was a false email (I don’t have any groups; I’ve deleted the email in the morning sorry) - in the sense I hope that no silly crook wants to exploit my memrise addiction

nope, i open this kind of mails from this kind of address with a web reader, and the trash empties automatically every time 24 hours. If it happens again, I’ll forward the mail to you (I assume some joshua@… address)
