Mark entries for ignoring -- a pain with iOS

There are multiple issue concerning the iOS app for marking entries to be ignored. Why ignore? Many courses have mispelled or incorrectly translated words and I do not want to learn those. Also, due to the recent odd and bad change of the need to know each and every translated term, in the right order, it’s meaningless to learn such entries (old system picked one of multiple in a list separated of commas which was perfect.)

Anyway, to mark entries for ignoring I need to go to the web site and mark them rather than using the iOS UI. In addition to have to go to a web browser to mark them instead of doing this in second in the app, I have to even find the word in a long list of course records.

It gets even better.

The iOS app has no decent synchronization of changed entries in courses. The only way to do this is to remove the app, reboot the iOS app to make sure that the preferences are wiped out – and then reinstall and log back to the account. Sometimes this does not either work.

  1. Put in a simple way to ignore words
  2. Put back the behavior of selecting one of multiple words and accept it
  3. Finally fix the synchronization of courses and the iOS app without the need to remove/reboot/reinstall
