Hello everyone,
I am creating a course where multiple answers are required, but writing them in order is not necessary.
1- comma between words does not work
2- and semi-colon does not work either, because if you type only one answer, it is correct.
How can I deal with this?
Thanks for helping.
by introducing alternatives, _alts, be them visible or invisible.
@Hydroptere
Thanks, but I don’t think it is the ideal solution, if I have few items it will be ok. But for 6 items, how many alternatives should I create? 36? what if there are more items?
If I learn things in order, I will spend less time than creating all the possible alternatives.
Hopefully, there is another solution.
you’re right,
but maybe then you can introduce some alternatives separately and give a hint which synonym do you mean - you could for ex give the first letter of “calceme”, “c” after the definition, or give as hint “chemical formula” or something similar
I think that separating your answers with a slash (/) may be what you’re looking for.
There’s a newly posted guide here that explains more about these types of things.
(nope, if I understood well, the OP wants one to give all the responses possible - but also the order of the answers should not matter)
Ah, I see.
FYI, there are 720 ways to order 6 items. 6 choices for the first entry times 5 choices for the second entry times 4 choices for the fourth entry, etc. So there are 6! = 6x5x4x3x2x1 = 720 orders for six entries. Not very practical to put all these into Alt.
@neoncube thanks for the link, I posted my request there.
@RobertKnight8a thanks for the correction. I almost forgot everything about math, even if I used to like it at school (but, that was in the last century).
