Could you try clearing the website cache?

Tap the three dots on the top right of your browser, then tap settings.
Scroll to the bottom and click on “Show advanced settings”.
Under Privacy section, click on Content Settings.
Under Cookies, click on All cookies and site data. It opens a new window with a list showing all stored cookies and cache.
Type Memrise in the “Search cookies” text box in the top right corner.
Click the “remove all shown” button.

as far as I know, we don’t use cookies

Here’s how to clear your cache.
- Open Google Chrome.
- Tap the three dots on the top right of your browser
- Point to More tools, and then click Clear browsing data.
- In the “Clear browsing data” box, click the checkboxes for Cookies and other site and plug-in data and Cached images and files.
- Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Choose beginning of time to delete everything.
- Click Clear browsing data.
Your cache will now be cleared.
