I have a similar issue with ā€œListening Skillsā€ on Android, in this course:

Genki I (Genki 1) Vocabulary & Kanji

I am near the end of that course - Level 41, corresponding to chapter 10 of the book. If I go into a level and manually select Listening Skills, I get content from that level or recent levels; but if I do other exercises, and then Listening Skills comes up in the rotation on its own, it will always show the same content from a very early level: enpitsu, pen, doa, hon, moichido itte kudasai, kitte kudasai; this is a level that I completed about two months ago. As an experiment I blocked ā€œenpitsuā€, and while this word no longer shows up, the other ā€œstuckā€ words continue to appear before me in every session.

Additional background - I have skipped some levels, mostly the Kanji reading levels because I use a different product for Kanji study. I donā€™t know if this would affect the selection of study words.

Using Memrise for Android on a Samsung phone.
