That doesn’t have to do with politics, it’s just drilling sentences, not virtue signaling. Also, the last two sentences are shared by both the left and the right to some extent. Also, are these sentences in an official course or a community course? Because Memrise is not liable for what sentences the community comes up with.

Total nonsense. And I never mentioned “politics” as in left or right. I mentioned virtue signalling. Politicians make laws and shape our society and are representatives thanks to democratic votes. They make ALL the difference . Many people enter Wars to protect themselves and others. Or shall we let Mr Hitler do his thing? Wars are frequently very much required : the nasty guys don’t wait for you to finish your yogurt.

The person - or team - who made the course you are doing is the person you should be addressing, otherwise you are just wasting people’s time.

Personally, I find it somewhat nauseous. Keep your politics out of learning material: that’s not learning/teaching, its indoctrination.

Just about anything is influenced by politics to some extent nowadays, we just have to deal with it. It’s not like some out of place sentences are gonna affect you that badly, as long as they’re doing their job it is allowed. Abgelutscht, this eternal pseudo-argument with Hitler (and they were defeated by the Russians, btw), what about USmade wars (nasty events happening quite often) etcetc.
I never voted for a war in my life, or even for the dictator-like reform of the copyright agreed upon by the EU parliament 2 weeks ago. So much so good for something in my name…
