Why? I can’t let someone else use the app on my phone without losing my courses? It’s a pain to download the courses as it is. Isn’t there some way to just connect them to the account?
This is intended, when you log out of your device all courses which have been downloaded will be removed.
A message is displayed when you attempt to log out of the device, stating “any courses you have downloaded for offline use will be removed from your device.”
I know that it is intended. What I don’t know is why.
I agree with WildSage, I can share the tablet with someone else who uses memrise too. Why should I download all courses each time I log in?

There are currently no plans to store downloaded courses when logging out of the application.
Downloaded courses are linked to your account and only your account.
That doesn’t answer the question as to WHY?? it does this.
I’m curious as to why it does this too.
I hope that they will reconsider this app behavior, because downloading the same course data every time a user logs out and back in wastes their paying customers’ cellular data transfer allowance and both inconveniences and annoys them at the same time. This seems more like an anti-feature than a feature to keep.
