Thank you for the update. After paying yearly for years I finally went “lifetime” this year so now I’m a bit concerned the the whole thing seems to be splitting in two part – how does this affect my lifetime status?

I don’t think it will be affected in any way, from what I have understood so far. You will still get all the services you get now, just in two separate places.
Any input on this?
