Apologies for the slow reply.
Since having left Support a couple of years ago, I no longer get to spend as much time on the forums as I’d like to.
Gutted to declare the long wait has been in vain 
After numerous failed attempts, it has become apparent that the course editing tools are broken. Changes aren’t being saved…
My colleagues in Support and QA may already be aware of the issue, I’ll check with them asap.
Let’s hope for a simple fix! With our current projects not being directly focused on course creation, a time-consuming fix in this field may be put on the back burner.

Good news - the actual feature works!
There’s just some bug where the boxes don’t get ticked.
So even though it appears ‘Show bigger’ is not activated in the settings, it actually is 
I hope the large font shows up on your end too?
