I found a few courses today that to me made a lot more sense of an easier way to learn the readings of kanji, where you learn a kana reading of one kanji then a few words with that kanji in after with different readings of said kanji.
To me this makes a lot more sense, I think for me I’m going to go through some of these courses or create my own one where it gradually introduces new kanji and the kana readings.
I’m not going to even bother learning what the word means in English for now, as I want to be able to just read Japanese without having to stop constantly to check the reading and meaning of a word.
At least if I know most of the readings I’ll be able to read most Japanese although I won’t understand all the words (I read plenty in my native language English where I don’t understand a lot of words, science type stuff, but I know how to read the words, and gradually understand the meaning of the words through exposure to the word more often, so I think I should be able to do the same with Japanese).
Anyways, just me thinking out loud/in text, here were the courses that gave me the idea:
I know other people may have learned them this way, if so how’d it go?
How did everyone else learn lots of the readings of kanji?
Anyone know of other courses that just has the kanji/kanji words (more than one kanji) with the kana readings?
