Well, now I tried one of the Italian courses and it was okay, so let me specify the ones that didn’t work so far - Spanish (Mexico) and “Other Language” which is actually Sicilian. French = okay. German = okay.
Here is the Sicilian course: http://www.memrise.com/course/68511/basic-sicilian/
From this page, clicking on the green learn button = nothing happens.
Clicking on a specific level = offers no “learn” button, but blue “review” button (erroneously, for items not yet learned), when clicked on nothing happens.
Can you post a screenshot of one the levels that has unlearned items but only a “review” button?
No problem I’m not on the Memrise team, though; I’m just another user, so I’m afraid I don’t have power to make changes to the code or anything. Hopefully someone from the Memrise team sees your topic, though.
One thing that’s interesting is that this level says “0 words”. Normally this is supposed to say how many words are in the level, so it looks like the system thinks that this level doesn’t have any words. I checked some of the other levels in your course, and they all said “0 words”, too.
Were there levels automatically generated from your course’s database, or did you generate them by hand?
EDIT
Looks like this is a known issue. See here for a fix.
@Joshua, any word on a fix for this bug?
Oh, sorry - saw the Memrise name in the return email and just assumed
These are somebody else’s courses, so probably I should just copy whatever
I want to learn and make my own. No big deal - but hopefully Memrise will
pick this up because it is something that went from working to not
working. Thanks for looking into the problem.
No worries
Oh, I see. Well, you could always tag Lien and ask her to add you as a course contributor so that you could fix this course, too. It looks like there have been a decent amount of people that have used it.
