Language Fluency Tests & General Reviews

I’ve been using Memrise for learning Spanish. It’s been really helpful, and I’m learning a lot, but…there is one tiny problem. On other language sites like Duolingo, there are general reviews and placement tests. Those don’t seem to be available here, so I really don’t know how much I know, or what I need to improve on. In addition, I’m learning things I already know, because I don’t want to skip over things I don’t. :confounded:

Suppose Memrise implemented such a system. It would be helpful concerning language learning, or any other courses. Doing this would probably increase usage of Memrise, as opposed to others like Duolingo who have this system already. Let me know what you guys think of this idea. Thanks! :smiley_cat:

Oh, thanks!! :smile_cat:
I messaged you in a private chat…?

If you don’t already know, you can go into a level and “ignore” any words you already know, or don’t want to learn…

I knew you could do that, but with a whole lot of words that I do know, it gets tiring and frustrating. :weary:
I’m talking about a placement test of sorts to gauge your level…?

such duolingo-stuff it does not fit the current memrise system: there is no “one size fits all” on memrise.

I mean, this is still the situation: but the team seems to go into that (boring, ordinary, etc) direction.

I was referring to a customized learning route for each person.

aha. Well, than memrise is not the best place for…

I guess everyone has their preferences.
