Korean letters connected

I’m new to Korean and just learning the letters and such. A quick question that may seem dumb but going to ask it anyway, Look at third syllable, the two letters touch. Does that signify anything or just the way the font works out? I see this a lot on different Korean learning websites and not sure sometimes if it’s one letter or two or if there any meaning when this happens.

For one, it’s not a stupid question. I had the same and similar questions when learning any new script.
To answer: yes, it is the font. In script-writing class you’re not taught to make them touch, but it is quite common depending on the font.
Happy learning Korean! :kr: :north_korea:
