Known Issue- Android app returns to homepage when clicking Settings

Hi all,

Just a note to say that we are aware of an issue with Android users being unable to access their Settings on the app. When clicking the Settings button, users are thrown back to the Memrise start screen.

Our developers are actively working on a fix for this. In the meantime, you can access your settings on the website at app.memrise.com/settings.

I got this issue and hope you can solve it soon as possible, because default theme is very light and I can’t access to settings for changing it to the dark mod :dizzy_face:

Hi all, the fix for this issue has now been released with version 2.94_25025_memrise of the app. Please update in your app store when it becomes available :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks but I still have a problem with the App as reported before (but cant find)

When I go to settings on the Profile page of my Android App …

  1. It still defaults to a course after a quick flash of settings and
  2. The Android web store does not ask me to update, but it does say it’s the version of the 4th February 2.94_25025_memrise

I’m experiencing this as well. Even after updating the app.

Apologies- please can you update to 2.94_25030_memrise and let us know if the issue still occurs?

FWIW, I’m on 2.94_25032_memrise - have you got the wrong version on your end?

Sorry for the confusion :sweat_smile: 2.94_25032_memrise is indeed the latest version. 2.94_25030_memrise contained the fix for this Settings bug. Please always update to the latest version when it becomes available to you!
