It keeps telling me that my answers are wrong, even when they’re right. This happens exclusively in typing questions with more than one word answers.
I looked at the sentence in the Japanese 1 (no script), and the answer is:
īe, kekkō desu = no, thank you [Figura 1]
Maybe you were thinking about the Japanese 0 (NEW VERSION) response:
けっこうです = no, thank you [Figura 2]
The Japanese 1 (no script) is in line with the Japanese 1 - OLD VERSION [Figura 3], but in the NEW VERSION (implemented from late 2018 to early 2019), the response has been shortened.
= = = = = =
Figura 1: Japanese 1 (no script)
= = = = = =
Figura 2: Japanese 0
= = = = = =
Figura 3: Japanese 1 - OLD VERSION
H @Milamy , thanks for responding!
I tried responding with “īe, kekkō desu”, and it gave me the same problem.
Also, the same problem happens with many other phrases it asks me to type… onegai-shimasu, yame-te kudasai to name a couple.
I’d suggest you try to turn off the beta in your → learning settings (“Turn on Memrise Lab experiments”) and then verify as to whether the problem still exists.
If the problem is gone without the beta, post to this thread here:
Hi, we’re aware of this issue and hope to have it fixed asap (internal code WEBSITE-2859
). In the meanwhile, please do try turning off Alpha and Beta to see if it fixes it.
Thanks for your patience.
Best,
A.
