Keep having difficulty with はand わ

Hello, I just started with Japanese, and when I keep encountering konnichiwa, and it asks me to type it out, when i type in japanese it keeps telling me that こんいちは is wrong, but when i type こんいちわ it says its only partly wrong.

I’m new to using IME but I’m not sure if something I’m doing is wrong, or it thinks こんいちは is incorrect as it reads はas ha and not wa.

I figure its most likely I’m doing something wrong, and perhaps someone more experienced could point me in the right direction.

The correct kana is こんにちは, with the に instead of the い.

Aha. I see where my fault is, I was more focused on the end of the word, and I didn’t notice i used い instead of に

I didn’t realize I had to double tap n to get ん

This probably saved me some trouble down the road. Thanks a lot!
