Well, I see, you see it more like feature or normal behavior than a bug. Though, it was a better readable font before, right? Two users report it across two different languages around the same time - doesn’t seem to be a user induced change.
Suggestion:
If you have a font problem problem, it might be easier to install that particular language and it’s keyboard in Windows Settings (or Control Panel). That way you don’t need to download stuff, and you know your system is standard, which gives a bigger chance of success, with less surprises. That’s what I always do, and all these scripts (Chinese etc) read fine on my Win10 (usually using Chrome) by default. Hope this helps.
