Japanese 3 course from Russian language.
Have the mistake in the 6th level of this course.
Example “里保さんは話すのが速すぎです”.
Answer is “ты говоришь слишком быстро”.
But it is different phrases.
里保さん it is a Mr. Riho, but in Russian phrase you use “ты”.
“ты” it is あなた
I think that correct phrase in Russian is “Мистер Рихо говорит слишком быстро”.

You are probably correct because I don’t know any Russian at all, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I will say this: Japanese can never be fully literally translated. It’s too different, so if what you’re talking about is just how it’s phrased, word usage, or its word order, then it could still be a correct translation. For all small differences, just roll with it.
When talking to people in Japanese, it is polite to use the person’s name instead of a second person pronoun. The intent of the Memrise courses is to teach this method of conversation.

I think that polite method of conversation is very important if language is not nature.
But I mean about mistake in translated phrase, this mistake is not in polite method.

Thank you for spotting this!
The translation has now been updated to “Riho, you speak too fast”.
In Japanese, we omit the word “you” in speech and if you want to make clear you are speaking to them you call out their name, rather than referring to them as “you”. This item was supposed to be an example of that but the translation was not updated accordingly! My bad!
