Japanese 1 Progress Reset!

I missed out on the 50% off deal in the app because I was already a 3 month member and it wouldn’t let me purchase the year at a discount, which sucked, but then today I logged into the iOS app on my iPad and my Japanese 1 progress was gone. I had completed that course and was working on Japanese 2, and now all of my progress in Japanese 1 is just gone for no reason.

It’s not absolutely necessary that’s I have my progress, of course. I’m on Japanese 2. But WHY did it reset? And will it potentially happen to other courses later that I haven’t finished, yet?

I believe it has something to do with course being redone.
I also believe this change was much needed as the old Japanese 1 course was not nearly as good as other courses-word order was bad, people missed out on katakana(hiragana’s bro), which is QUITE essential to read any sort of signs on street etc.
