Japanese 1 Desktop vs Mobile

こんにちわ!

I have a concern to raise. I find it odd that the Japanese 1 Desktop course is different from the Japanese 1 mobile course. Despite them being exactly the same course. It just seems that the Desktop version has access to more words/letters/phrases.

The course on mobile says that there are 235 words in Japanese 1.
Then I decided to visit Memrise on the Desktop for the first time and discovered that on the Desktop there was multiple sections to the course that I had never seen before, and that the total word count was actually 312.

Why is this the case? Why can’t I learn “dots and circles”, “little letters”, “covering more katakana” and “final katakana” on my mobile??

This just seems bizarre to me. My subscription of Memrise is due in part to the easy accessibility, giving me the ability to learn on the go. I can’t do that at a desktop pc can I?

Would appreciate it if this was remedied by the team in some way.

Edit: I’m on Android OS and the app is updated to the latest version.

Which language, US English?

Since AFAIK Memrise is a British company, they keep the British English one more up-to-date than the American one. They actually have a new Japanese 1 in the British English stream that’s 412 words.
