Issues with updating my progresses

Hi,

I have the Memrise app on both my iPad mini and iPhone 7. My problem is the following: I’ve downloaded for offline use the course “Spanish 3” on my iPad, and I’ve completed it, however when I open the app on my iPhone it doesn’t show the course as completed.

However, the reverse works: the courses I downloaded and completed on my iPhone are shown as completed also on the iPad.

I’m looking forward to solving this issue. Anyone able to give some advice?? @Joshua

Hi! After finishing Spanish 3, did you connect to internet so the progress could upload to system?

Yeah I did and I also tried to scroll up many times to update, but apparently it didn’t work…

Have you tried reinstalling the app on your IPhone?

The easiest is to log out and in again. But if that doesn’t help then try reinstalling. And if that doesn’t help also… Will think further

Yeah just tried… and didn’t help :joy: No problem anyway, I’ve also written an email to the support service…

Hi, could you send us two screenshots.

  • One of your iPad dashboard showing the completion of the course.
  • Second of your iPhone dashboard of the same course.

Maybe there is something wrong with your iPad, as the website doesn’t show your course as completed.

Interesting! None of the platform show the same amount of words learned.

Could you please click the leaderboard tab on both device? Are you able to see yourself on the leaderboard with both device?

Could you also check that the time on both devices are correct. Maybe one of your device date has been moved to some date forward in the future / past.

Yeah I can see my leaderboard on both devices, both showing 10.2k points. And yes, time and date are correct on both

This might be a pain, but could you log out of your iPad then log back in again.

Could you please tell us the result?

Most likely your progress will be reverted to what is shown on the iPhone.

Done and nothing has changed :joy: iPad still showing the course as completed

The website progress seems to now match your iPad.

Could you try logging out and logging back in to your iPhone again.
