Issue with capitalized additional information

Beta appears to now be compulsory so I have only just become aware of these issues.

Firstly, the inability to use the enter button to click through after confirmation/correction of an answer during revision. PLEASE bring this functionality back - many of us are revising large volumes of words and without this feature revision becomes painfully slow and much less enjoyable.

The columns for additional information (notes, parts of speech, etc) are currently all capitalized. I suspect this creates problems in a lot of languages and certainly does in Greek - letters are stressed and it is now confusing to see where the stress marks are. Please remove the capitalization - I can’t see any reason for this change.

Finally, the mute audio option during revision seems to have disappeared. Will this be reintroduced? It’s a useful feature when listening to music while revising.

Thanks for listening!

Hi @SilentShuffle, you should still be able to use the enter button to click through. Can you please confirm which browser you are using?

Do you have a screenshot of an example of the capitalisation issue?

Thanks for your feedback re the mute option. I’m afraid we won’t be adding this in the near feature but will continue to monitor feedback on this :slightly_smiling_face:

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help with!

We will not be adding the mute button back, because on all major web browsers, you can right click on the tab and mute a site, which covers the need.

Many thanks for the fast reply @MemriseSupport - much appreciated.

You’re spot on with the browser issue - the problem is on Firefox, it works fine with Chrome.

Understood re the mute button - I wasn’t aware that tab could be used - thanks @James_g_memrise

As for the capitalization, this remains an issue on both browsers. Here is a screenshot:

Previously the tags “+άπο = apart/separated from” etc were not capitalized.

Hi @James_g_memrise, any update on this capitalization issue? Any chance it can be reverted to how it was (i.e. no forced capitalization)?

I’m afraid that is not my team’s area, but @MemriseSupport can log it as a request and will let the appropriate team know

Many thanks!

Thanks, a ticket has been created for this issue, however sadly I have no timeframe for if or when this will reverted back to the previous behaviour.

Thanks for your patience.
