Nothing helps, hard resetting the device, terminating / quitting the application, loging out. After updating the app on another device, same problems. Nothing helps. It crashes and either throws you to the main screen of memrise or kicks you out of the app to your device home screen.
The courses also all show that nothing has been learned in them until you click on them. You can then see how many reviews you need to do, but when you click to review the app crashes. Can’t do anything in the app.
Everything seems to work now, but the course list doesn’t show how many reviews. It shows all courses I have added but it’s as if there’s no progress. However when I select the course, everything seems fine there. It’s just the list now that doesn’t seem to work.
If you are using an older version of Memrise, and an older OS (<11) and Memrise is crashing, we would advise you to update Memrise (2.3.48). Failing that solving the issue, please also update to iOS 12.
If you are already using iOS 12, and Memrise 2.3.48, can you let us know if you have ignored any items in your courses? We can then investigate further.
My Memrise has also started crashing after I updated to the latest version (2.3.48). iPhone Xs with IOS 12. Have tried uninstalling Memrise, rebooting the iPhone, reinstalling Memrise, but no luck. Very frustrating. And yes, I have ignored items in some of my courses.
Same here, I have the newest version of the app as well as the newest iOS and the app will not open on either of my devices (ipad and iphone SE) I try to open it it attempts to load and then black screens and crashes the app. Uninstalling and reinstalling it did nothing. I have skipped things in the custom courses as well as downloaded courses for offline use. Hope this gets fixed soon.
Same here. Worked fine for several courses but once I switch to one course the app crashed and can’t be opened again. For now I use the beta to be able to review.
Tested on two different devices running iOS 12.0.1 and the latest Memrise release.
