I’ve created a course for Ancient Greek that combines texts and vocabulary learning. The course presents the end of Plato´s Phaedo.
The text is divided into fragments and each fragment has two stacks: one for the text presented as a picture (media) and one for its vocabulary (database). Every picture contains an interlinear translation from Greek into Spanish and a second one from Spanish into Greek of the same fragment, so that students can establish a clear correlation between both languages and their structures.
I’ve tried to integrate texts into Memrise, because just learning words is not the only task of learning a language.
My question is how other people have integrated texts and text reading into Memrise. If you could share your experience, it would be really nice. I just want to extend Memrise capabilities from just a tool for learning vocabulary into a more comprehensive tool.
Examples or links to courses addressing this question will be welcome.
