Inconsistency with verbs (to to or not to to... that is the question)

Been doing the Thai course for a bit now a lot of verbs start with “to” like “to go”, or “to tell” but then there are a bunch where the ‘to’ is omitted like “ask”.

This causes many of my mistakes and gets pretty frustrating because now aside from memorising a totally new language I also have to memorise the arbitrary choices of someone inputting the words. It seems easy enough to make it so that adding "to " or forgetting to add "to " would also result in a “correct”.

I think the same thing should go for nouns where sometimes “a” or “an” is added but those are pretty rare.

This would help me so much!

Thanks in advance,
Bas

hi @BasHessels! it souns like some user_created course Not Memrise-made.
If you post a link to that course, maybe the creator or contributors can help.

Ah! Ok

This is the link https://www.memrise.com/course/101144/basic-thai-listening-part-i/

The author of this course is @RickCarlino. He is not a user of this course. He might not be even active on the learning site of memrise. He made his last mem 3 years ago.

Let’s hope there are some active contribotors. @MemriseMatty could you please check it?
