Immersion mode? Why hasn't it come for my Korean course yet?

I’ve paid for a membership but have yet to receive any benefits from the “Immersion Mode”. When will this come and why is it taking so long to come for Korean?

From what I understand, “immersion” mode is only for English courses. I don’t even know how they make them or if they’re worthy of the term immersion. Personally, I’m just going to make my own immersion courses using subs2srs and Japanese dramas then share those.

Immersion Mode is not and will not be available for Korean. At least in the nearest future.

Here is the list of languages that are supposed to be in Immersion Mode, however, as for the moment only the English one is available, because the other ones are currently being recorded and processed:

English, French, Spanish, Portuguese (European), Italian, German, Dutch, Danich, Norwegian, Swedish.

Additionally first they are supposed to appear only in officially created courses.

That looks like an immensely useful tool! Thanks for sharing! I will definitely try to make some courses based on Chinese movies with that. Series would be better, but I haven’t searched for or found .srt subtitles for Chinese series yet.

For Chinese this would be a good addition to that: https://www.chinesetextanalyser.com/features. Some of the features might also work with other languages, after the text is segmented.

According to this staff comment, it looks like Korean videos will be available by the end of the year.

We will be adding videos eventually to all languages, the Membus ones first (Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Danish, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian) and then Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Russian before the end of the year. Then we will move onto the rest of the languages

But, you know … I wouldn’t plan your life around this or anything - it could easily slip months.
