I’m new can anyone explain
the male and female voices are often different
I understand macs/fem in French and appreciate the two voices / different ways to speak are there for macs/fem words but as a female should i follow the female way to say things?
Thanks
It’s good to follow how the woman say things when learning to pronounce words you will be using. It’s also good to get used to hearing the male voices since this is important to listening skills.
I don’t know how far you are but the gender thing sometimes takes a while for those of us whose native language doesn’t have so much of this. Relax, it will come to you.
My son is bilingual French/English and still makes the mistake. I recommend to him to read more French to get used to seeing the words and their association with the correct article.
I like hearing both. One reason is to get a better feel of the way people speak while saying the same thing the other is as you may know is there quite a few feminine endings that mean the same thing but you will need to know depending on whom you are talking to.
