I’ve been away for a bit and I don’t remember this. I think it’s great! It makes me spend a bit more time with my daily reps, but it makes the experience much less frustrating and punishing for me. You should definitely keep it!
Shame it’s a typing exercise feature, typing exercises are a little more rare compared to the other stuff.

If you want more typing tests you can make them the default in Review mode by going to your learning settings
