How to start a course for a new constructed language

I would like to start a course for a new constructed language. How do I do this and have it appear in the constructed language section?

Hi @haegri,

Have you read the ā€œCourse Creationā€ stuff in the Memrise Knowledge Base? If not, here’s the link:

Good luck!

Nothing that I can find here. I’ll re-phrase the problem. When you start a new course, Memrise expects you to choose an existing language. It seems to be impossible to start a course for a new language under an existing category - the category headings - such as constructed languages - are greyed out. The only way I have found to start a course for a language not already in Memrise is to choose ā€˜other language’ under ā€˜other’, but it would make more sense to be able to start, or move, new languages to their appropriate categories. However, I can find no way to do this.

Hi again @haegri,

[some content deleted to avoid further confusion!]

If it’s simply that you want a new language heading or sub-heading to be added to the course index, you’ll need one of the Memrise team to say if that’s possible. Any thoughts @Joshua?

Yes. Last time I’ve seen this question Memrise would grant a request for creation of a new language heading if a 100 people were taking courses in the language, if I recall correctly. So for now put your course under ā€˜Other Language.’

It has been a long time since I’ve seen the question though so things are sure to have changed.
