How to see the words in Russian Course in Russian and NOT English

Hello to everyone! I just joined Memrise and started doing the Russian Course for beginners when i noticed that all the words taught in the course appear in English. I want to see the words how they are in the Cyrillic alphabet, with actual russian letters. Is there to make the words appear in Russian or the course is built like this?

I thank you in advance

Unfortunately, no. The words appear the way course creator made the course. But:

  1. If you are studying official memrise course, there will be cyrillic letters in later levels.
  2. There are different Russian courses by different authors, you can find a better match for your needs - http://www.memrise.com/courses/english/russian/

Hi,

I highly recommend our official Memrise-created courses. Unlike the community-created Russian courses, the official courses are created by our in-house team of professional linguists and translators. To top it off the courses have full studio-quality audio recorded by native speakers.

These are our English > Russian courses, arranged in order of ease:

Russian 1: http://www.memrise.com/course/1123052/
Russian 2: http://www.memrise.com/course/1123053/
Russian 3: http://www.memrise.com/course/1123054/
Russian 4: http://www.memrise.com/course/1123055/
Russian 5: http://www.memrise.com/course/1123056/
Russian 6: http://www.memrise.com/course/1123057/
Russian 7: http://www.memrise.com/course/1123058/

Please note the first level of Russian 1 uses the roman alphabet, but then from level 2 onwards you learn Cyrillic. That way you learn the language sequentially. The words are taught first in roman alphabet to aid the process of learning to read Cyrillic Russian - once you’ve learned the individual Cyrillic characters, it is helpful to learn to read some Russian words that you already know the meaning of, rather than immediately trying to read and learn new meanings at once.
