How to contact a course creator who copied a part of my website without attribution?

Hello everyone!

I have been looking for a similar topic but I haven’t found anything similar, so I am asking here.

The thing is that today I have found out that in this course [https://www.memrise.com/course/1423893/hiszpanskie-rzeczowniki-zlozone/(https://www.memrise.com/course/1423893/hiszpanskie-rzeczowniki-zlozone/) the introduction paragraph is copied and pasted from my website http://www.hiszpanskidlapolakow.com/hiszpanskie-slowka/hiszpanskie-rzeczowniki-zlozone/ without quoting the source and the majority of the vocabulary comes from the list on my website as well. The content on the website is shared under the Creative Commons license, however in the course I haven’t found any information about attribution and the source, which constitutes a clear breach,

I have been trying to find a button which would allow me to send a message to the course creator @donata.milewska.766 in order to explain the issue, but I haven’t found any, which is why I am asking for your help in this thread.

Thank you for your help,

Edyta

I am sorry that this person didn’t attribute the source material to your website, that is really “not cricket”, as we say in England

If this person was active on the forum, then their name would have come up when you used the “@”, I’m assuming that didn’t happen, otherwise their name would appear in a kind of grey box.

At any rate, I can only recommend that you ask someone from the memrise team, such as @Lien, who can contact the course creator on your behalf.

the courses seem to have been deleted…

Many thanks for your advice, that’s what I’ll do.

Maybe Lien saw this thread and took action already!
