I am learning spanish and french and I study spanish the most, but would like to spend abit more with french, how do you structure your learning if you study more than 1 language?
I practice one, then take a break before I practice the other one.
I did a lot of self-teaching of French, and took a French college class several years ago, and am getting back into relearning what I’ve lost and (hopefully) going further.
Then, a couple or three years ago, I took a Spanish class (plus I had some real-life exposure when my kids were young), and am renewing and learning that, as well.
I added Italian into the mix about a month ago. No formal classes (I think one semester of formal learning is good, to learn some basic grammar/pronunciation rules, though).
I started out doing all three every day, but recently decided to only do two a day so I could spend more time with each language.
Anyway, my bottom advice would be to take a break between practicing/learning the languages, learn what type of schedule is most enjoyable to you - and definitely do an internet search on polyglots, learning languages, and so forth. There’s a lot of advice out there, from people who have done it.
