Greetings. I am trying to place a url that contains several underscores into a multimedia level. I can type or copy the url into the level without issue. The problem seems to be that an underscore makes text italicized, and in so doing omits the actual underscore that is part of the url. How can I around this ?
Example: the url format I want to put in the level should look something like this: https://sample_url_to_post_in_a_multimedia_level (this is not an actual url, so don’t try to use it).
Typing or copying it in is not an issue. It is only once it is in the multimedia level that it appears like this if a user views it: sample_urltopostinamultimedialevel_ Except for the first term, the other words run together and are all italicized (no underscores appear). If a course user was to copy the url as it appears into a browser the url would not be found since it is missing the underscores.
What am I doing wrong ? How can I keep the underscores, and not have the url italicized ?
@avyva ~ thank you for the response. It works like a charm ! I would never have thought of adding a backslash. You should get a “genius” badge for this !
Greetings, @pdao. I have been struggling with the same thing. Thank you for bringing up that topic here, and thank you so much @avyva. It did indeed work like a charm!

@pdao What’s amazing is that I spent several hours trying to find out how to fix that exact problem, and magically, as soon as I come onto the forum there it is.
