Hello guys, I’ve recently started my adventure with memrise.
However i found some issues with one of the courses. It’s Ielts prep reated by Dsakolski.
It’s English to Polish i think.
So the issue is that he added “fragiale” instead of “fragile” and “destinction” instead of “distinction”
“conspicious” instead of "conspicuous"
It’s really confusing and I’m wondering if there is any way to contact the administration.
Greetings, Adrian.
Hi,
I´m new here too. You have to contact the user would be my first guess - unless Memrise themselves have created an “official” course.
In that case you are expected to post it in the “official” section for the language you are studying and one of the staff will have a look and edit it.
I´ve found mistakes in the official part; let´s see what happens. Memrise has a convenient interface, but time will tell if I can rely on it and the extra features are worth it.
The alternative (free) is using Anki where I check the dictionary anyway while creating my flashcards.
Thanks for pointing out Anki, I might check it out.
The official courses are 100% supported, I saw some topics where they kept improving the course in “real time”.
I’m still wondering if the administration can correct the courses created by users.
Another mistake in ielts prep course - conspicious instead of conspicuous.
Damn it.
Step 1: search for the appropriate [Course Forum] topic here. If you can’t find it;
Step 2: start a [Course Forum] topic, with a link to the course
Step 3: notify the course creator and contributors by mentioning them (like so @Adrian_Likiewicz) if they are already members of this forum, or ask Memrise staff to contact them via email if they are not. If no reply from the creator, you can;
Step 4: ask Memrise to make you a course contributor so you can make the changes yourself.
Thank you kindly.
Hello, I’m new here. I’d like to correct some mistakes on a japanese course for italian speakers. But it seems that there isn’t any forum correlated. Can I just tag this person randomly? Moreover, it seems that I’m not able to tag her… the nickname is @beabea What can I do if the creator is no longer on this site? It’s a useful course, the one that she created, it would be handy if I could correct the mistakes in it.
thank you all!

And ask them to contact the original course creator, who can be asked if you can be made into a course contributor. Then you can access the database and make any necessary corrections.
